Natures Resilience 

Natures resilience The collection was inspired while walking through London although a beautiful city with incredible skyscrapers, it lacked the beauty of nature until I came across one building that had flowers growing up all over it coming through the concrete, it proved to me that nature has no bounds. From this- this mini collection developed by looking at the dullness of city’s in the modern day and then adding in the vibrancy of natures exquisiteness, in the way it grows over objects and turns something that was grey and dull into a masterpiece. This collection uses techniques such as embroidery and beadwork. It consists of large and small flowers hand embroidered over guipure lace as a base, which then has depth, added to it with embroidered colour and beads. Some pieces are just full beadwork garments. The clothing is full length and dark representing our city’s buildings and the rest is my take on “natures resilience”.
